Waterman Way, London E1W

Planning Permission was granted on the in October 2013 to enlarge a property at 3 Waterman Way.

E1WF Architecture worked closely with the client to increase the existing two bedroom / one bathroom house into a three bedroom / two bathroom house by extending at roof level creating an enlarged, comfortable, light filled, three storey family home whilst respecting the local context and character of the street and surrounding area.

This is the first time planning permission has been granted to alter the roofline of the terraces of houses on Waterman Way (not including an end of terrace house) after a high number of refusals.

Within the design the required planning policies which have applied to all development on Waterman Way were met (Policy SP10 of the Core Strategy, Policy DM24 of the Managing Development Document and the principles of the National Planning Framework).
